Warranty Policy

Limited Manufacturer Warranty

All products are backed by a Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty (typically 12 months or 20,000 km).

    • Pass-Through Warranty: PartsName.com facilitates the manufacturer’s warranty process; the final decision rests solely with the manufacturer.

    • Exclusions: We are not liable for labor costs, towing, rentals, or incidental damages.

    • Void Criteria: Warranty is void if the part is modified, installed on an incorrect vehicle, or installed by an uncertified technician.

    • Claims: Requires the original order number, a professional diagnostic report from a licensed mechanic (Red Seal or provincial equivalent), and photos of the defect.

Privacy Policy

    • Data Usage: We share necessary fulfillment data (name, address, vehicle VIN) with our US partners via encrypted API to complete your order.

    • Data Residency: Data may be stored on US servers and is subject to US jurisdiction (e.g., USA PATRIOT Act) while stored there.

    • Payment Security: We are PCI-DSS compliant. We do not see or store your credit card digits.

Terms of Service

    • Fitment Responsibility: While our site suggests parts based on vehicle data, the customer is responsible for verifying the part matches their VIN.

    • Returns: Unused items in original, unopened packaging may be returned within 30 days.

    • Fees: A 25% restocking fee applies to all non-defective returns. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

    • Core Charges: Refunded only after the “core” is returned in the original manufacturer’s box and passes the manufacturer’s inspection.

    • Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
